Aimed at producers, editors and assistant editors, this three-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to the range of editing features available within Media Composer.

The interactive nature of the course enables participants to put what they learn into practice before sitting the Avid assessment exam at the end of the course.

- Starting a project
- Basic editing
- Refining the edit
- Packaging and output
- Project organisation
- Building a scene
- Trimming dialogue
- Reworking a scene
- Mixing sequence audio
- Approval and output
- Technical fundamentals.

Prerequisites:
